| PLENUM & ADAPTER BOXES |
| PLENUM BOXES (PLB) are accessories for use with
Grilles and Diffusers. They are designed to equalise the pressure profile within the box
and hence provide an even velocity at the face of the grill or diffuser without the use of
Equalising Grids. PLB boxes are manufactured from "Zintec" mild steel. Construction being attained by mechanical tagging. The spigots are spot welded to either the top or side face of the box. All supply plenums are fitted with perforated baffle plates (except top inlet where the spigot size is within 100mm of the box dimension). Plenum boxes can be internally lined with 25mm acoustic insulation. This will increase the overall dimensions by approximately 50mm, details available on request. ADAPTER BOXES (ADB) to convert standard square neck Grilles and Diffusers to a circular spigot connection are also available. |
